All-electric cars are becoming increasingly more convenient and accessible to consumers. However, one big stressor people may experience when considering an electric vehicle is the battery range. With the 2021 Mustang Mach E, you don’t have to worry! With different options available and a multitude of charging networks around North America, Mach-E makes it easy to own an all-electric vehicle!

What is the range on the 2021 Mustang Mach E?

The 2021 Mustang will be available with standard and extended range battery and rear-wheel drive options. The EPA-estimated 300 mile range for the 2021 Mustang Mach E has officially been certified in premium extended-range RWD! Ford has met (or exceeded) all of its EPA-estimated ranges for the Mach E!

You can charge your car at home every night and wake up to a full charge. If you’re planning to go on a longer trip, you can even map out your charging stops with this tool. With an estimated average of 61 miles of range charged in approximately ten minutes, and from 10-80% charged in 45 minutes, you’ll be on the road in no time!

What can affect the range of electric vehicles?

Similar to gasoline-powered vehicles, electric vehicles can be maximized by several factors. Here are a few tips for the 2021 Mustang Mach E:

Accelerate at a slow steady pace to help preserve the range.
Precondition your MachE prior to leaving in order to help reduce the impact of the heating and cooling system. This can be done on the FordPassâ„¢ app.
Use the Regenerative Braking System to capture and reuse braking energy that is normally lost during the braking process to recharge the battery.

With more than 12,000 charging locations and more than 35,000 charge plugs, you won’t have to worry about your 2021 Mustang range! Check out this Ford press release for more information about vehicle charging and order your 2021 Mustang MachE with Bill Brown Ford here!
