The long-standing popularity of the Ford Edge continues in 2024 with a minor update for you to explore and enjoy on the road. This two-row, compact crossover SUV is in its second generation for the 2024 model year. The five Edge trim levels available are the SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST. The SEL adds several upgrades over the base trim level, making it a popular option among crossover SUV shoppers.
The 2024 Ford Edge SEL continues to have a connected navigation system. The 1-year complimentary subscription for this service in 2023 expands to three years of included service for the latest model year.
The captivating exterior design of the 2024 Ford Edge is comparable to the style of the preceding model year. A rounded nose, flat hood, and raked rear establish its sporty look. The sides express forward momentum with an upper definition line and a bold accent line over the lower portion of the doors. At the front, the 2024 Edge had a black, hexagon-like grille with expanded, triangular air vents and captivating, pointed LED headlights. The 18-inch wheels are standard. Carbonized wheels with all-terrain tires and dark outer trim are options.
The 2024 Edge is solidly engineered to impress its drivers. The SEL trim level comes with a four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter gas engine. This is a 250-horsepower system that features an eight-speed auto transmission. The SEL has standard all-wheel drive.
If you choose the 2024 Edge SEL, your crossover will have all of the SE trim level’s features. These include keyless entry, a dual-zone auto climate control system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 12-inch infotainment system screen, a push-button ignition, lane keeping, a blind-spot warning, and a rear cross-traffic sensor. The SEL trim builds on these features with synthetic leather upholstery, a SecuriCode entry keypad, heated and powered front seats, and a nine-speaker audio system.
Additional optional features are available for the 2024 Ford Edge SEL. These include ActiveX upholstery, a wireless charging pad, a remote start, a power liftgate, a security alarm, a household power outlet, adaptive cruise control, and evasive steering assistance.
