2025 Ford Escape vs 2025 Ford Bronco Sport

Serving Livonia, MI

In 2025, Ford offers two small crossover SUVs for auto shoppers to compare and choose from. While the Escape and the Bronco Sport are in the same auto class, these models are strongly individualized and appeal to different drivers. What can you expect from the 2025 Ford Escape and the 2025 Bronco Sport?

Performance

The Ford Escape is the perfect commuter vehicle with its smooth performance. It is available with gas, hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The two gas systems are a turbo 1.5-liter, 180-horsepower unit and a turbo 2.0-liter, 250-horsepower alternative. The first has front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive, and the latter has standard all-wheel drive. The Escape Hybrid is equipped with two electric motors and a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. This all-wheel drive setup produces 192 horsepower. There is also a PHEV, which is comparable to the Escape Hybrid, and it has a 37-mile all-electric range.

Most of the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport trim levels are powered by a turbo 1.5-liter, three-cylinder, 181-horsepower engine. The top trim benefits from a 250-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. Both options have all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission. Some trims add upgraded all-wheel drive, trail control, and a raised off-road suspension.

Appearance

The 2025 Escape is easy on the eyes with effortless contouring and a rolling profile. The grille stands out on the road with its radiating pattern, and the wedge-style headlights have both LED bulbs and linear light elements. It is available with a tow package, rain-sensing wipers, roof-rack side rails, LED fog lights, and more. The Bronco Sport is available with a towing package, all-terrain tires, skid plates, a brush guard, and several other features.

Features

If you choose the Escape, your new Ford may be outfitted with a B&O sound system, automated parking, leather upholstery, a head-up display, a 13.2-inch infotainment system display screen, a navigation system, driver’s memory controls, a digital instrument panel, adaptive cruise control, heated front seats, and additional features. The Bronco Sport has some of these features as well as rubberized floor mats, HD radio, auxiliary switches, and several other features.
