2025 Ford Escape vs 2025 Ford Explorer
Serving Livonia, MI
Ford’s line of SUVs offers several exciting possibilities, including popular options like the Escape and the Explorer. The 2025 Escape is a two-row, compact crossover SUV that introduces a few modest updates compared to the previous model year. The 2025 Explorer is a three-row, midsize model that has also been updated. Our sales reps at Bill Brown Ford are eager to help you discover these models’ many standout traits.
Performance
The 2025 Ford Escape offers two gas engines and a hybrid option. The gas engines are a turbo 1.5-liter, 180-horsepower unit and a turbo 2.5-liter, 250-horsepower unit. The Escape Hybrid has a non-turbo 2.5-liter engine with a pair of electric motors, and it generates 192 horsepower. The 2025 Explorer comes with two gas engine options. The turbo 2.3-liter, four-cylinder engine puts out 300 horsepower, and the turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine produces 400 horsepower.
Appearance
The 2025 Ford Escape is easy to differentiate from the Explorer with its smaller stature and curvaceous profile. At the front end, the Escape’s grille has a subtly octagonal shape with a radiating pattern. It sits between small fog lamp ports and innovative, LED-outlined headlights. The 2025 Explorer, on the other hand, has broader dimensions with a flat roof and streaming, angled accents running across the sides. The large grille is almost rectangular and has a scalloped mesh pattern. The fog lamp ports are slightly larger than the Escape’s, the LED headlights are uniquely defined.
Features
The Ford Escape is well-equipped with available features like a head-up display, a universal garage door opener, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, leather upholstery, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, driver’s seat memory controls, a 13.2-inch infotainment system screen, a navigation system, interior ambient lighting, wireless charging and other features. The 2025 Explorer has many of these features. It is also available with heated second-row captain’s chairs, a power-folding third row, massaging front seats, a twin-panel sunroof, paddle shifters, BlueCruise, and several additional features.
