2021 Mustang Mach-E Home Charging Resources
Home charging may be top of your mind when deciding on an all-electric car. Luckily, with the 2021 Mustang Mach-E you don’t have to worry! On top of Ford offering you the largest public charging network in North America (with over 13,500 charging stations– might we add) there are several options available when it comes to at home charging.
Types of At Home Charging for the Mach-E
Option 1: Ford Connected Charge Station 240V/48A
This option is estimated to add an average range of 30 miles per charging hour on Mach-E’s with extended-range battery and rear-wheel drive. This is an additional purchase for your vehicle, but will help to maximize your battery life. You can even schedule charging times with this option! This option will be available to purchase late 2020 through your dealer or online at the time of purchase.
Option 2: Ford Mobile Charger with 240V/48A NEMA 14-50 Wall Outlet
This option adds an estimated 20 miles per charging hour on Mach-E’s with extended-range battery and rear-wheel drive. The Ford Mobile Charger can be plugged into the 240V wall outlet, so you can always start your day with a fully charged vehicle! This option comes with your 2021 Mustang Mach-E, too!
Option 3: Ford Mobile Charger with 120V/12A Wall Outlet
This charger also comes with your 2021 Mustang Mach-E, but can be plugged into a standard home or garage wall outlet (140V). This option adds an estimated range of 3 miles per charging hour on a Mustang Mach-E with an extended-range battery and rear-wheel drive.
The 2021 Mustang Mach-E also allows you to map out your trip and find charging near you. With Ford’s at-home charging options and the vast FordPass Charging Stations around North America, you’ll never have to worry about your electric vehicle battery!
