Holidays In The Park Livonia
Enjoy the holiday season at Park Livonia at Laurel Park Place, 37700 Six Mile Road, on Saturday, Dec. 17, and Saturday, Dec. 24, for some family fun! Enjoy family activities and classic holiday movies, including Home Alone, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Polar Express, and more. This event is free, but you must reserve a spot by Dec. 17 on their website. For an extra touch of magic, you can purchase a movie pack for only $10, which includes a delicious sugar cookie, hot chocolate, and popcorn. Additional items can be bought at Em & Lu Floral Café if your sweet tooth needs extra snacks while watching the movie. Livonia Christmas Craft and Vendor Market
Are you in need of any last-minute Christmas shopping? Check out over 60 amazing local vendors and crafters selling various items this Sunday, Dec. 18, from 10 AM-3 PM at Livonia Elks Lodge 2246, 31117 Plymouth Rd. Adult admission to the event is only $2! Inside, you will be able to enjoy raffles and food concessions to keep you going while you explore unique and one-of-a-kind gifts for the whole family, including yourself. Remember to bring the kids to see 8 ft tall Santa Jack Skellington and Pikachu from 12 PM to 2 PM!
Night of Lights at Greenmead Historical Park
Visit Greenmead under the glow of lights! Night of Lights, presented by Masco Corp, is back with more lights, activities, and community fun! This weekend, December 16th-18th, from 5 PM-8 PM, enjoy holiday activities for the kids and beautiful lights at this walking event. Kids can enjoy a visit with Santa at the Meeting House and crafts at the Newburg School House. Visitors can stop in the church to listen to a free concert or shop at the new Town Peddler Holiday Gift Shop. Warm up in the hospitality tent, where snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Play a round of Street Hockey and Corn Hole and enjoy all the lights! Located at 20501 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48152, there is a cash only, $10 suggested donation per vehicle upon entry.

SANTA’S WORKSHOP
Celebrate the holidays with a trip to Santa’s Workshop! This year, kids 5-12 can create gifts for their friends and family at the Kirksey Recreation Center at 15100 Hubbard St, Livonia, MI 48154. There will be two dates to choose from, 1–3 PM. Saturday, Dec. 17, and 5–7 PM. Wednesday, Dec. 21. There are several craft projects to choose from at each event— Make one or three! All children ages 5-12 must register for the event. Parent or guardian participation is optional but does not require registration. The event costs $20 for members, $23 for residents, and $30 for non-residents. Adults are not required to stay. Event staff will supervise participants during the event.
