Activating Ford BlueCruise
Enable BlueCruise via SYNC:
- Open Vehicle Settings on your SYNC system.
- Select Driver Assistance.
- Switch on Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centering.
- You can also set up BlueCruise using the FordPass app.
BlueCruise on the Highway:
- When you enter a pre-qualified section of a divided highway, known as a Blue Zone, the instrument cluster will indicate that BlueCruise is available by lighting up blue with a hands-free icon.
- Press the Adaptive Cruise Control button on your steering wheel to activate BlueCruise.
- If the Lane-Keeping System isn’t active, turn it on using the Lane Assist button.
Hands-Free Driving:
- Focus on the road while BlueCruise assists with steering, keeping you centered in your lane, and adjusting your speed as needed without touching the wheel.
- With BlueCruise engaged, you can switch lanes hands-free on the highway using Lane Change Assist.
- In-Lane Repositioning allows you to shift away from vehicles in adjacent lanes, keeping your desired space.
Turning Off BlueCruise:
- Press the Brake pedal, Lane Assist, or Adaptive Cruise Control buttons.
