The 2024 F-250 XL comes equipped with a 6.8L V8 engine that makes 405 hp and 445 pound-feet of torque. The XLT trim has a more powerful 7.3L V8 engine with 430 hp and 485 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are mated to a TorqShift-G ten-speed automatic transmission. The base XL trim is available with both 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains, while the XLT model comes standard with a 4×4 drivetrain.
Towing & Payload Capacity
Built to get things done effortlessly, both the XL and XLT trims boast remarkable towing and payload capabilities. The F-250 XL offers a maximum towing capacity of 14,800 pounds. The XLT, with a bigger engine, can tow up to 17,200 pounds. In terms of payload, the XL can carry as much as 4,268 pounds, whereas the XLT can carry 4,164 pounds.

The 2024 Ford Super Duty F-250 XL features a well-appointed interior that is designed to enhance comfort, convenience, and productivity. The XL trim sports a black grille and black front and rear bumpers. The XLT, on the other hand, has halogen fog lamps, a chrome grille, and chrome front and rear bumpers.
The XL comes standard with 17-inch argent-painted steel wheels and 18-inch sparkle silver-painted cast aluminum wheels. However, the XLT only comes standard with 18-inch sparkle silver-painted cast aluminum wheels.
