Ford Bronco vs. Jeep Wrangler Performance

The 2024 Bronco comes with three powerful engine options. The standard 2.3L I-4 delivers 275 hp and 315 pound-feet of torque and can be mated with either a seven-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. If you crave more power, upgrade to the 2.7L V6 that produces 315 hp and 410 pound-feet of torque. Standard on the Bronco Raptor, the 3.0L V6 offers the most muscle, powering your desert runs with an incredible 418 hp and 440 pound-feet of torque. Both V6 engines are coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive is standard across the entire Bronco lineup.

The 3.6L V6 is a base engine in the 2024 Wrangler lineup, providing drivers with 285 hp and 260 pound-feet of torque. The available 2.0L I-4 makes 270 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque. The most potent 6.4L HEMI V8 sits under the hood of the Rubicon 392, which generates an astounding 470 hp and 470 pound-feet of torque. The entire Wrangler lineup has four-wheel drive as standard, and the engines can be linked to a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Ford Bronco vs. Jeep Wrangler Dimensions

The 2024 Bronco features a flexible cargo area with plenty of storage space for all your gear and belongings. The two-door variant offers 22.4 cubic feet of room with the second row in place and 52.3 cubic feet when the rear seat is reclined. The Wrangler falls slightly behind, with the two-door version providing 12.9 cubic feet behind the second row and 31.7 cubic feet behind the first.

The four-door Bronco boasts 35.6 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 77.6 cubic feet with those seats folded, compared to the Wrangler’s 31.7 and 72.4 cubic feet, respectively.

Ford Bronco vs. Jeep Wrangler Towing Capacity

Despite being more off-road focused, both SUVs offer excellent towing potential, enabling you to bring everything you need to make the most of your adventures. The 2024 Bronco can tow as much as 3,500 pounds in its standard configuration. This figure jumps to 4,500 pounds with the Raptor trim that embraces a mighty 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine. The towing capacity for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler maxes out at 5,000 pounds, enough to easily haul a camper or a boat.

Ford Bronco vs. Jeep Wrangler Interior Features

Whether tackling challenging off-road trails or driving through city streets, the Bronco’s durable and tech-forward interior keeps you comfortable, engaged, and connected.
