2023 Bronco Trim Levels

Amanda: Hey, everyone. It’s Amanda and Sean from our Bronco life. And today, we are going to talk about the different trim levels of the Bronco, plus discuss some of the reasons why we chose our trim level.

Sean: First off, for 2023, there are ten available trim levels. That includes the special edition Heritage Package, the Heritage Limited, Bronco Raptor, and Everglades.

Amanda: Let’s focus on the non-special edition models right now, which are the Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak. Each trim level is designed for a specific type of use, whether extreme off-roading, mild off-roading, or just your daily driver. Ford has given each trim level a slogan to help put you in the right direction.

Sean: The Bronco has two available engine options a 2.3 liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a 2.7 liter twin-turbocharged v6. You can either get it in a seven-speed manual transmission or a ten-speed automatic transmission. The Bronco comes either with a two or a four-door model and all Broncos come standard with 4×4.

The Bronco offers multiple packages and accessories straight from the factory within each trim level. All models have their own unique grille and interior color combination.

Amanda: Depending on your trim level, you can upgrade to a mid, high, or luxe package, which can upgrade your screen size from 8 to 12 inches. What is excellent about the 2023 Bronco is that all models, even the base trim level, can come equipped with the Sasquatch package, which includes locking differentials, upgraded suspension, and 35-inch tires.

Sean: All non-special edition four-door models come standard with a soft top with the optional hardtop. Now all two-door models come standard with a hardtop. Every Bronco has removable doors, and Ford has provided a Bronco tool kit in the glove box with all the tools necessary to remove those doors.

New for 2023 for the Bronco include the hoss 3.0 suspension now standard on the Wildtrak models, and new G.O.A.T Mode options.. Plus, some new colors on the special edition models that we talked about earlier.

Sean: Now, let’s discuss how we decided on our Outer Banks Bronco trim. First, we decided what we wanted to do with our vehicle as it was going to be our daily driver, plus our adventure vehicle. We wanted some good capability and extra comforts inside.

Amanda: We also agreed on getting the four-door model because we wanted more room for camping trips and bringing friends along as well. While the soft top is quick and easy to use for that open-air feel, we really wanted the hardtop for different climates and we also just really liked the look of it as well.

Sean: Getting the bigger 12-inch touchscreen with the advanced tech was a must-have for us. And so that narrowed it down to the Outer Banks, Badlands, or Wildtrak trim level. While we were planning on going off-roading with our vehicle and having some fun with it, we weren’t ready for extreme off-roading that the Badlands or the Wildtrak offers. So that is why we chose the Outer Banks trim level.

Amanda: What really drew us to the Outer Banks is the standard features that it came with, such as the sidesteps, the painted fender flares, and mirror caps and door handles that really give it that nice, clean exterior look with the LED headlights and tail lights. It also comes standard with the mid package and you can opt to get the higher luxe packages.

Sean: On another note, while we didn’t order it this way. The Outer Banks is one of three trim levels where you can get leather seats. The Bronco has many accessories that can be added to your Bronco order, or you can purchase and install the accessories through Bill Brown Ford’s parts department. You can get things like roof racks, different kinds of lights, towing packages, auxiliary switches, and more.

Amanda: With all of these options in mind, we finally decided on a Ford Outer Banks Hard Top High Package with cloth seats, heavy-duty front bumper, advanced 4×4, and more. What we love about the Bronco is that they’re all so unique, and you can really create one-of-a-kind and make it all that fits your lifestyle.

Sean: Thanks for checking out this video. This is Sean and Amanda from our Bronco life. We hope it helped you narrow down your decision to pick which Bronco best fits your lifestyle.
